Micro Thong Swimsuit
Just when you think things couldn’t get any smaller comes the micro thong swimsuit that can blow everyone’s minds this summer. Maximum exposure for optimum tanning can be achieved by wearing these little stringy pieces barely over your intimates. However, though these swimsuits allow you to move freely on the beach this summer, prolonged exposure to the sun with only scant protection can cause you some problems. One of these problems is dehydration. In order to have the most fun in the sun this summer, here are just a few reminders on how to prevent and treat dehydration.
Dehydration
Just because you’re in the sea or in the pool all the time this summer doesn’t mean you’ll get enough fluids in your body. Sometimes, in their enjoyment, people can forget to take a sip of water or fruit juice even if the weather is hot or when they are partying hard. Dehydration can still set in even if you’ve been taking bottle after bottle of beer or other alcoholic drinks. Another problem that too much frolicking in the sun in skimpy bathing suits can bring is dehydration of the skin. Skin gets sallow in appearance and feel, making it more prone to sunburn, tearing, and eventually sagging.
Prevention
Nothing beats experiencing lack of liquids than drinking lots of good old H20 regularly. If you’re going to the beach or doing some other activity that would require long sun exposure, pack in a few bottles in your bag or lug along a cooler with water and fruit juice. Relieving yourself when you feel the urge also helps regulate the level of bodily fluids, but afterwards, you should still replenish with a glass of water or fruit drink. Drinking lots of water can also help keep your skin looking supple and smooth. However, to prevent your skin from getting dehydrated, you must always moisturize even if it’s not beach season. Slathering on sunscreen can also help protect you from excess UV rays that can damage your skin.
Cure
In the event that you or someone you know is showing signs of lack of liquids, move him or her to a cool shaded place. Help him or her cool down by clearing space around them and giving them water to drink. A solution of one teaspoon lime juice, one teaspoon sugar, and a little salt can be an alternative cure to jumpstart the person’s system. If the condition is severe, bring the person to the nearest medical clinic or hospital for treatment.
